Each month, we thank an individual, business and/or organization who supports our efforts. This month we would like to recognize Ken Rosa.
Ken has been a valued member of our Golf Committee since its inception in 2023. With his love for the game, expertise in fundraising and deep commitment to the Center, he has been an incredible addition to the team.
Ken consistently goes above and beyond, contributing outstanding items to our raffles and silent auctions that always spark excitement among our guests. Ken donated the MYC kitchen oven, which makes our monthly cooking and nutrition programs possible. Our after-school members especially look forward to these programs each month. In addition, the oven allows us to prepare and heat several side dishes, along with turkey and ham, for our annual MYC Thanksgiving Meal—another amazing and meaningful event that Ken so generously supports.
Ken’s continued generosity and many contributions in the community helps us provide our after-school members with a complete Thanksgiving meal and all the trimmings. He is readily available to offer thoughtful advice when asked, yet he prefers to contribute quietly—an authentic reflection of who he is. In September, during our other major annual fundraiser at CraftRoots, Ken was one of the select few individuals to receive a Community Appreciation Award in recognition of his contributions and dedication to the success of the Youth Center.
This month, we are proud to recognize and thank Ken for his many efforts. We are truly honored to have him as part of our team, both on the golf course and beyond. Ken generously gives his time and attention to the Center while balancing a full-time career and home life, and we are deeply grateful for his dedication.
