We hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Holiday and New Year! In between morning, afternoon and evening programs, MYC staff distributed over $60,000 worth of donated gifts to over 250 youth and their families! Part-time and full-time staff have collected lists, created spreadsheets and picked gifts from multiple businesses and agencies over the last couple months!
We would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who sponsored youth, and/or held collections for our center, including the United Way of Tri-County, Waters Corporation, Goldfish Swim School – Milford, Raydio, West Street Autobody, Santos Garage, Cornerstone at Milford, Platinum Physical Therapy, New Generation Barbershop, Barbell 88, Jen, the Director’s college friends from Stonehill (Kayte Lenahan, Alyssa Bibeau, Kara Rossetti, Jackie Piques, Janelle Provencher, Kathleen Early), Mary and Rick Rossetti, Donna and Bob Lanciault, Jacob Eosco, Gail Crimaldi, Matt Fitzgerald, Cheryl Stienstra, Mary Pratt, Kristen DeSimone, Kaitlyn Mobilia and the Duludes!
We want to give a special thank you to our friends over at Barbell 88 for putting on an amazing Cars & Coffee Toy Drive and collecting an estimated $50K in gifts to be distributed and shared amongst the Milford Youth Center! Andre, Zach and your Barbell community are amazing (see video here)!
We would also like to thank Barbell 88 partners which include Eurotech, Newton Kitchens & Design, Procyon, Hard Knocks Barbershop and Abriella Ink.
Finally, thank you to Barbell 88 and MYC staff for helping us unload gifts and thank you to the volunteers, Carrie McGrath and Dawn Maheu, for sorting the gifts for us!
New this year, MYC staff and after school participants joined members of the Milford MA Police Association and Massachusetts State Police Troopers to participate in a “Shop with a Cop” event at the Milford Target! Thank you to Target for your generous donation and to Trooper Stevens and Officer Bavosi for coordinating the event (see video here)!
Finally, due to the amazing generosity this year, we were also able to help some additional families at Milford Public School, the Department of Children and Families and miscellaneous families!

little extra special for our youth this year!
