The Milford youth Center is looking for reliable, responsible, night and weekend part-time Rental Staff! The rate for this position is $16.48/hour, with an estimate of 19 hours or less each week. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and be comfortable working nights (after 6pm) and weekends (based on rental requests and/or community events)!

Are you looking for Spring and Summer employment? If so, The Milford Youth Center is looking for a Youthworks Supervisor. A YouthWorks Supervisor provides leadership, guidance, and operational oversight for youth employment and development programs at the Center. The role requires a strong blend of communication, mentoring, administrative and problem-solving skills.

- Provides daily supervision and support to youth participants and program staff
- Models professionalism, positive workplace behavior and accountability
- Builds trusting, supportive relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds
- Coaches youth in job readiness, workplace etiquette, punctuality, communication and conflict resolution
- Encourages growth, goal-setting and responsibility through constructive feedback
- Ensures youth adhere to safety protocols and follow workplace policies

- Facilitates Signal Success and weekly check-ins with youth particpants
- Documents incidents, progress and attendance accurately and professionally

- Ensures youth complete tasks safely and in alignment with program goals
- Supports positive relationships with partner worksites and helps ensure quality placements

- Be 21+
- Have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and respect while supporting individual needs
- Promote equity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging
- Have basic knowledge in the Google Suite and Social Media
- Have experience supervising youth
This opportunity is possible through YouthWorks, a state-funded youth employment program that helps teens and young adults get the skills and experience needed to find and keep jobs. Participants take part in paid short-term work placements at public, private, and nonprofit worksites. The program serves income-eligible youth living in targeted cities across the Commonwealth. This amazing opportunity is offered through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development and administered statewide by the Commonwealth Corporation. Locally, it is coordinated through the MassHire Central Region Workforce Board and managed on their behalf in Worcester, by the Worcester Community Action Council, in Milford, by the Milford Youth Center, and in Southbridge, by the Center of Hope.
