Monthly Thank You’s: December 2025 

The Youth Center would like to extend a very appreciative thank you to the following list who donated items and/or their time to the Center:

  • Thank you to all the businesses and individuals that donated to our annual toy drive and distribution;
  • Thank you to all the businesses and individuals who donated to the Center for GivingTuesday;  
  • Alavi and Braza for donating $6,500 towards the MYC Annual Appeal for programming to support our free afterschool program;
  • Donna and Bob Lanciault for their $1,000 donation towards the MYC Annual Appeal to support MYC programming; 
  • Target of Milford, Massachusetts State Police, and Milford Police Department for organizing and sponsoring 10 children for Shop with a Cop (see video here), 
  • United Way of Central MA for donating $271.96 through their employee giving campaign; 
  • Patty and Jonathan Hulme for donating $200 through the Fidelity Charitable Donor-Advised Fund;
  • Angelo (Chuck) Calagione for his $300 monetary donation for Youth Center programming;
  • Sellia Group LLC for their annual donation of $200; 
  • Lisa Recchia for her $100 holiday donation; 
  • Sandra Baldi for her $100 holiday donation; 
  • Daniel DiAntonio for his $100 donation;
  • Shaws of Milford for choosing the MYC to be the recipient of the “Give Back Where It Counts” reusable bag program, $12 was raised for the Center; 
  • The Milford Youth Center is pleased to partner with Teachers Driving Academy to offer students a great program, at a reasonable price, with added convenience of taking classes right at Milford High School;
  • YouthWorks for the opportunity to employee youth during their full-year program;
  • FRead Inc. for partnering with the youth Center to provide free books to the youth in our community;
  • Caterpillar of Milford for donating cooler bags and pens to the Center; 
  • Milford Food Service Program, CACFP and the Hockomock YMCA for providing dinners and snacks to our after school members;
  • Spoonful’s for saving food in our local communities and providing it to the Center for our families to have weekend food bags;
  • Hockomock Area YMCA for continuing to offer their Mobile Food Truck to our participants once/month;
  • UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional Medical Center for collaborating on our wellness and fitness programming;
  • Coffee Haven in Holliston for donating left over bagels and pastries to the Center;
  • Milford Permanent Firefighters Association Local 2140, Milford,MA. for awarding the MYC float 3rd place for the Santa parade, see Milford TV’s coverage of the event here and our video here;
  • Milford Fire Department for visiting the Youth during the afterschool program;
  • The MYC Youth Council participants, afterschool members and staff for participating in the Milford Santa Parade
  • Cornerstone of Milford’s Leah Martel for inviting us to Cornerstone to play BINGO with the residents and for inviting full time staff to be judges for their annual pie baking contest;
  • Seven Hills Foundation for helping pack our weekend food bags for our families;
  • Milford TV’s Dominique and Chase for running our Milford TV program;
  • Milford Public Schools for allowing Program Coordinator Joanna to come in and share about our program; 
  • Volunteers/Outside Services: Bill Farrell, Judy Tusino and Pamela Hunter for packing the afterschool dinners; Vicki Parabicoli for running our monthly sewing program; Brian Bell for running our boxing program; Dee Burley and Phyllis Foley for running our gardening program; Pam Goldman and Mike Gillis for running a cooking program; James Brevigleiri for volunteering during the after school program; Hannah Kostansek for volunteering for the Milford Santa Parade; Carrie McGrath and Dawn Maheu for organizing all of the toy donations; for all our Board Members for meeting monthly to help oversee this amazing asset to the community!
