Please help the Milford Youth Center as we join K.I.N.D organization, KIDS IN NEED OF DEFENSE to collect items in need for children who have been displaced when arriving at the border. The items will go to refugee and immigrant children, some of which were separated from family and others who came to the United States unaccompanied. They were detained at the border and have been sent to different parts of the country. The following is a list of but not limited to the requested items that the Boston location are most in need of.:
- School supplies: pens, pencils, folders, binders, crayons, markers, notebooks, rulers & back packs.
- Personal Hygiene: Hand sanitizer, deodorants, shampoo, and conditioner, bar soap and feminine sanitary products.
- Clothing: S, M, L sweaters for boys and girls, hats and gloves.
- Baby Supplies: Baby shampoo, creams, diaper rash cream, wipes.
- Miscellaneous: Calling Cards, playing cards, i.e Memory, deck of cards, Uno, etc.
