We would like to thank the Milford Bar Association for their generous donation that they presented last month to the Center! As part of their last quarterly meeting, The Milford Bar Association had Attorney Dan Doyle as their guest speaker. Dan spoke about his book, “The Jesus Trial,” and he donated a number autographed copies of the book for purchase, with all proceeds to be donated to charity. Dan also founded the Blackstone Valley Boys & Girls Club in Blackstone Valley and has been its Chairman of the Board since its beginning; the 12 acre facility provides services to over 1000 children in Blackstone Valley throughout the year. In recognition of Attorney Doyle’s commitment to youth services, the Greater Milford Area Bar Association decided to donate these funds to the Milford Youth Center. “Considering Dan’s devotion to providing a positive environment for our area’s youth, we felt that the funds raised through Dan’s generosity should be donated to an organization with similar goals.” – Stephen J.
