The Milford Youth Center and JAG would like to thank everyone who helped make our 5th Annual “Dressed Up, Not Messed Up” Fashion Show a success! The show was held on Saturday, February 16th at 6 PM at the Milford Youth Center. Over 50 youth participated and the theme for the fifth year was “Dressed Up, Not Messed Up”. Through this event we look raise awareness about underage drinking and help teens become better informed about the dangers of alcohol so they can make healthy decisions throughout life. We also hope this event will increase youth self-esteem and attitudes toward their body image. Each year the show gets better and better, with more youth participating and community involvement! This event would not be possible without the support of many local organizations and businesses, including: TJ Maxx of Milford (provides the outfits), Original Designs by Shea (Jewelry), Fades by Custom Creation Barber Shop and hair and make-up by BVT Cosmetology Students!
