The MYC Youth Council started a new drive for the month of March, and it was another successful collection of winter socks and under garments for the Sacred Heart Parish Center.
The Youth Council finalized and submitted their “Don’t Be a Litterbug” slogans to the town! They, among others, will be in the running for the Town of Milford’s new slogan, which be posted around the town once the winner is chosen. Good luck to all those who participated!
Additionally, MYC Youth Council members signed up and committed to Milford Beautification Day. This is an annual event that encourages, not only the MYC Youth Council, but the entire after school community and staff. The MYC Youth Council are always the first to commit to the event which gets the curiosity of the other members sparked and the turnout is always great!
In March, the full-time staff also delivered all the collected blankets and sheets to the Southwick Zoo for the primate department. Thank you again to all those who contributed!
