In the month of April, our members of the Youth Council have been working very hard! After a successful sock collection drive towards our local homeless shelter, the Youth Council reflected on how we did and what we can improve on for our next fundraiser.
Some of the things the kids did to promote the sock drive themselves; get permission to mention it during school morning announcements, hang the flyers at school and share on their social media posts.
In addition, the Youth council have been getting ready to participate in the annual Milford Beautification Day! The kids are so excited to work together to help clean up the town!
Also, the Youth Council has started to help prepare for our upcoming golf fundraiser by writing words of appreciation to put on the golf carts! We are looking forward to making the most of our last full month of the After-School Program!
