Jen and Sabrina, on the left, represented the Youth Center at the annual Milford Family Fun Fair at Milford High School, to help promote our programs and events!
On March 16th, MYC staff attended an SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, & Referral to Treatment) Training session. This important training gave staff the tools needed for adolescent substance abuse prevention.
MYC Staff also attended a training, March 30th, on sexual violence prevention in Worcester. Youth Access to Support and Services (YASS) is a free training for providers and professionals. YASS is a research study learning about organizations and their work around sexual violence.
The Youth Center is so grateful to have the opportunity to learn and work with so many wonderful community organizations and stakeholders!
