We all have experienced a tough winter this year but we are trying to make the best of it at the MYC! Thank you to the Highway Department, who regularly plows the Youth Center out after storms, the MYC was able to host a snow fight for the After School program!
In addition, the Milford Highway Department reached out to the community for
volunteers to help with the numerous calls they have been receiving, in concern to helping out seniors with shoveling. The MYC has a long-term goal to create a shoveling program for the seniors, as part of our leadership program, so we were excited to help out! We support and look for ways to collaborate with multigenerational services. These types of programs help link generations and build more sustainable communities!
