The MYC Youth Council (YC) has been busy! They participated in the Santa parade which was a huge success! They MYC float won 3rd place which we are all so proud of! The YC kids had a great time on the float, singing and throwing candy, popcorn and cotton candy to fellow MYC members, family and friends! They also made over 100 holiday cards which were dropped off at the Senior Center which will be distributed to members! Finally, members also volunteered at the Annual Craft Fair at the High School!
The MYC Youth Council will continue their ongoing project, as they work together with the Parks Department, to make “no littering” slogans that could potentially be used around town! They will continue to invite non-Youth Council members to participate in this project as well.
