We were so excited to be partnering with Spoonfuls and their food rescue mission, as of December 2022! Food waste is a big issue – throughout the United States, 35% of the food we produce goes unsold or uneaten, meanwhile, 38 million Americans are facing food insecurity. Spoonful’s is dedicated to bridging that gap by facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded.
If you are a member of our programming and you would like to get free groceries, please complete this link here! Signs ups for each week (depending on schedule) will be due on Wednesdays by 5 pm! This program is only run during the 10-month academic school year!
Please only click if you can pick up the bags on Fridays, before 6 pm when we close! We will coordinate with all families that sign up directly! Once you a signed up, we will keep you on the list for each week! It is your responsibility to confirm and/or cancel your pickup by Wednesday prior to each distribution by 5 pm. You can do this by calling the Center at 508-473-1756 or emailing mycregistrations@townofmilford.com
As a food recovery and distribution agency, Spoonfuls delivers recovered food on a schedule to which Spoonfuls and each Partner agrees.
