Each month we thank an individual, business and/or organization who supports our efforts. This month we would like to thank Seven Hills ASPiRE of Hopedale.
Seven Hills ASPiRE is a day program that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Months back, Program Director, Melissa Boulous, reached out inquiring about volunteer opportunities. We sorted through some options and decided a weekly trip to the Center to help divide and pack the food for our family recipients would be best.
Since October 17, 2024, an SHA staff member has accompanied anywhere from 4 to 8 volunteers on Thursdays. Together, the Center, with our weekly food rescue \mission collaboration, Spoonfuls and the Seven Hills ASPiRE volunteers, we can provide families with food for the weekend, that they may otherwise go without. To reach out, schedule and maintain \this weekly volunteer time is not only noteworthy, in the efforts of the staff and members who attend Seven Hills, but also in their commitment to the families.
We are truly grateful for their time, and we are delighted to continue our collaboration.
