Friday Fright Night Fundraiser at the MYC was a Blast!

The Milford Youth Center would like to thank the 100 MYC and community members who attended our Friday Fright Night Fundraiser on Friday, October 25th, 2024, and the over 35 volunteers who helped make it happen! The Center is excited to announce that we have raised $862.00 to support the programming at the Center! Some of the activities included DJ Ron Auger, costume contest, jumpy, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and kid friendly games. New year, we added a raffle table valued at over $570. The individual baskets were filled with all the things kids love from Frozen, to Marvel and even a mini pottery tea set! We also had our biggest attraction, the haunted house! We were joined by the Milford Fire mascot, Sparky, along with the Milford Police Department’s very own therapy dog, Piper! Finally, we would also like to thank the Milford Fire Department for visiting the haunted house the day before the event to make sure that our Haunted Maze was safe for all!

We would like to extend a big thank you to our community partners and vendors. Thank you to The Greenleaf Gardening Club’s, Phyllis, and Patsy; The Milford Town Library’s, Samantha Cesario; Milford TV’s Dominique and Gerald, Nadine Clifford of ConnectEd and Inspired, Lynda, Sienna and Dakota of Goldfish Swim School, Cindy and Natalie of Wayside Youth & Family Support, The Milford Fire Department, and finally, and Robert DiFazio of the Scouts of America!

Thank you to Board Member, John Dulude, who helped us tremendously in our efforts to make a safe and fun maze for this event, and for helping break it down afterwards! John plays one of the biggest roles in our haunt and ensure the animatronics are in full working order through the duration of the event! We are so thankful for him! Thank you to our Board Members, Darlene Dulude and Gail Jussaume for running the front entry table for the event!
