Each month we thank an individual, business and/or organization who supports our efforts! This month’s gratification post is to Fino Pool and to the amazing staff!
For many years the Youth Center Summer Camp has gone to Fino as a part of their weekly schedule. Up until 2019, the last season the pool was open prior to COVID and renovations, James Asam has always welcomed us with open arms. When we were officially informed that the pool would be reopening in July of this year, we were extremely excited to continue our community partnership with Fino pool and the incredible team of staff!
The MYC team, Peter Filosa, and James Asam worked together to figure out the best schedule and attendance configuration so that Fino could welcome as many people into their newly renovated pool as possible. Our campers got to enjoy two days a week at the pool enjoying swimming, playing games in their grass space, and enjoying the brand-new splash pad!
