Every year, we award Milford graduating seniors’ scholarships/grants, as a part of our End of the Year Party for the afterschool program! We like to include this as part of the event, so after school members can see that they can one day apply for our scholarships/grant opportunities!
We were so happy to award two graduating seniors our MYC Scholarship/Grant Award ($500/each), one senior the “Sandra Caproni Good Citizen Award” ($500) and one senior the “Milford Youth Center Steve Manguso Scholarship” ($1,000), a third and new scholarship opportunity that was created and funded by former Youth Commission member, Steve Manguso.
The recipients of the four scholarships were: Anthony Dew, Miguel De Oliveira, Julya Caldeira and Antoniyo Christiansen. Thank you to Steve Manguso, for joining us to present the first “Milford Youth Center Steve Manguso Scholarship” at the event! Congratulations to all of the awardees!
