We hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Holiday and New Year! In between morning, afternoon, and evening programs MYC staff distributed over $30,000 worth of donated gifts to over 200 youth and their families! Part-time and full-time staff have collected lists, created spreadsheets, and picked up gifts from multiple businesses and agencies over the last couple months!
We would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who sponsored youth and/or held collections for our center including the United Way of Tri-County, Waters Corporation, Goldfish Swim School – Milford, West Street Autobody, Cornerstone at Milford, MassCor Industries, Barbell 88, Advanced Restaurant Equipment, Jen, the Director’s college friends from Stonehill (Kayte Lenahan, Alyssa Bibeau, Janelle Provencher, Brit Roy, Kara Rossetti), Tamara Palmer, Mary Pratt, Carrie McGrath, the Duludes and an anonymous donor!
We want to give a special thank you to our friends over at Barbell 88 for putting on an amazing Toy Drive and bringing in over $20K in gifts for the Milford Youth Center and everyone in the community for helping us transport everything as well! We would also like to thank the Barbell 88 partners which include New Human, Red Devils C.C, Lunas’ Place, JT’s Diesel Performance, Bella Mena’s Hair Salon, Hard Knocks Barbershop, The Garrison Speed Shop, and Evolve Fitness and Training.
The Youth Center also did a month-long collection for The Milford Humane Society which we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who donated!
