The Youth Center would like to extend a very appreciative thank you to the following list who donated items and/or their time this month to the Center:
- Thank you to the Hockomock YMCA and all Golf Sponsors for making our first upcoming golf tournament possible;
- Amazon and Jen Baker for donating $82 that they raised from a can drive;
- The Army National Guard for running last month’s Life Skill’s program, giving the youth a presentation on team work, and bring their inflatable obstacle course;
- The Hockomock YMCA for making the Youth Center a new location for their monthly pop up pantry;
- Milford Regional Medical Center for collaborating on our wellness and fitness programming;
- Milford Food Service Program, CACFP and the Hockomock YMCA for providing dinners and snacks every day for the after school program;
- Lovin’ Spoonfuls for providing our families with the option of weekly rescued food donations;
- Milford TV and Mishelle Hebshie for running our Milford TV after-school program;
- Angel Moscatelli for donating vases and gift boxes to the Center;
- Robin Lovely for donating knitting needles for our knitting program;
- Andy Nastasi and Blue Moon Bagel Co. for donating left over bagels, muffins, and bread to pass out to local families, youth, and staff;
- Volunteers: Samantha Cesario from Milford Town Library for running our weekly book club; Mindy Katz for volunteering her time to run our knitting program; Sue-Ellen Szynmanski and Phyllis Foley for running our gardening program monthly; Victor Canino and Brian Bell for running our boxing and kickboxing program; Gail Jussame and Judy Tusino for helping pack and distribute our food bags from Lovin’ Spoonful’s; Dale Olson for volunteering in the gym during the after-school program; Dean Paul for helping monitor spaces; our Senior Tax Relief volunteer Christine Mancine for helping in the game room; Josh Schorn for helping hand out dinners and snacks in the kitchen; Francoise Elise for volunteering to help with grant opportunities; and to all our Board Members for meeting monthly to help oversee this amazing asset to the community!
