Happy Holidays from the MYC! In between morning, afternoon and evening programs MYC staff distributed over $15,000 worth of donated gifts to over 130 youth and their families Part-time and full-time staff have collected lists, created spreadsheets and picked up gifts from multiple businesses and agencies over the last couple months!
We would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who sponsored youth and/or held collections for our center including the United Way of Tri-County, Amazon.com, Waters Corporation, Goldfish Swim School – Milford, West Street AutoBody, MassCorr Industries, barbell_88, Lunas Place, Hard Knocks Barbershop, the Fauth Family, Mary Pratt, Olga Doktorov, Alyssa Bibeau, Brit Dawn, Kayte Lenahan and Beth Fraunfelter who donated a gift card! Thank you also to Officer Carlos Sousa for helping us organize Officer Lavigne of the Milford Police Department to help us collect gifts with a police van!
The Center also hosted two holidays collections including a sock drive for FamilyAid, organized by Christine Daddario and a sensory and educational toy drive for the Milford Regional Medical Center, organized by Baystate Marketing! It truly takes a village and we are so appreciative of everyone’s support to help make this Holiday season a little extra special for our youth this year!
