MYC Summer Camp was a big success this year, with over 60 different youth throughout the summer! Over the 6-week program, campers enjoyed a 3-day STEM program put on by 4-H, multiple trips to Fino Pool, arts and crafts programming, fun Friday spirit days, weekly Earth Art program, movie days and open gym and game room! Campers enjoyed going on 2 field trips a week! Some of our field trips included Hopkinton State Park, ForeKicks, Kimball Farm, Water Wizz, Canobie Lake Park, and Onset Beach! Thank you to Fisher Bus Company for getting us safely to our trips and to Fino Pool for allowing us to come three days a week! Finally, thank you to all of our amazing camp counselors who helped provide such a fun and safe environment for the campers!
Every year we receive donations that help make camp available for local youth in need! On behalf of the Milford Youth Center, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to our summer camp scholarship campaign this year, which helped us reach almost $4,500 in donations:
- $2,500 – Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation;
- $1,000 – Milford Federal Bank;
- $500 – Milford Lions Club;
- $250 – Homefield Credit Union;
- $160 – Stephen and Kerry Pepe;
- $50 – Jeannette Schorn
