On Monday, November 16, 2020, Amazon’s Milford Delivery Station presented the Milford Youth Center with a $25,000 NeighborGood donation to help support a future music and multipurpose media room at the Center.
“We are so excited to receive this generous donation to help us see our dream of a music and multipurpose media center finally come to fruition! We have worked very hard over the last few years through multiple telethons with Milford TV and grants to raise some of the funds needed, but this donation will really allow us to start breaking ground sooner than we ever expected,” says Jen Ward, Director at the Milford Youth Center.
“Customer obsession is at the heart of everything we do at Amazon. We believe our neighbors are our customers and we want to ensure Amazon has a positive impact on the communities in which we operate. Amazonians from the Milford Delivery Station celebrate the integral role the Youth Center has played in nurturing and developing young leaders of tomorrow. We are honored to play a part in bringing the music and multipurpose media room to life,” says Joe McCarthy, Area Manager at Amazon’s Milford Delivery Station.
